Printer is a device which prints text or information on paper. You can find many
kinds of printer each printer has both the
positive and
negative point on it.
- Dot matrix printer,it has a thin pin hits an inked ribbon and transfers an ink dot on the paper. These printers are very cheap but the pins tend to make sharp noises.
- Ink jet printers spread out tiny ink droplets on to the paper but they produce high quality text.
- Laser printer makes the use of laser light to print and produce very good quality text.
- Line printers tend to give low quality but they move very fast.
- Letterpress printer this will print letter by letter in reverse order, produce impression on images and cost is reasonable.
- Offset printer here inked image is transferred from plate to roller so it is slow process and with more sharpness and clearness.
- Digital printer gives effective impression on text, images and also enhances high quality look at high cost.
